Q: How to remove the Engine Coolant Thermostat (LY7-Gas, 6 Cylinders, 3.6L, SFI, V6)?
A:
You should partially drain the cooling system, remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold, disconnect the surge tank hose from the thermostat and remove the coolant pipe/thermostat housing bolt, the coolant pipe upper bolt, the coolant inlet pipe from the thermostat, the thermostat bolts and the thermostat and discard the thermostat seal.
