Q: How to remove the Engine Front Cover?
A:
You should remove the engine cover, the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold, and the camshaft covers, drain the engine coolant, disconnect the purge vent hose, remove the water outlet with the radiator hose, the accessory drive belts, the A/C compressor, and power steering belt tensioner, the generator bracket with the generator and the belt tensioner and the power steering fluid reservoir, reposition the power steering fluid reservoir, remove the power steering pump pulley, the power steering pump upper front bolt, loosen the remaining two bolts, remove the crankshaft balancer, the oil control valves and the engine front cover with the water pump, disassemble the engine front cover, clean the engine front cover sealing surfaces and remove any engine coolant from the engine cooling passages and the top of the oil pan scraper.
