Q: What should be noticed in the removal procedure for the Fuel Injector and Fuel Rail (LP1, LY7)?
A:
You should remove the fuel rail assembly carefully to prevent damage to the injector electrical connector terminals and the injector spray tips. Support the fuel rail after the fuel rail is removed to avoid damaging the fuel rail components. You should cap the fittings and plug the holes when servicing the fuel system to prevent dirt and other contaminants from entering open pipes and passages.

Q: How to remove the Fuel Injector Sight Shield (LLT-Gas, 6 Cyl, 3.6L, Sidi, V6, Alum)?
A:
The procedure is to remove the cross car brace, remove the oil fill cap disengage the cover/shield from the ball studs by pulling up firmly on the right and left front of the engine cover, pull the engine cover/sight shield forward to remove from the rear tabs, remove the engine cover/sight shield, remove the front compartment sight shield.

Q: How to install the Fuel Injector Sight Shield (LLT-Gas, 6 Cyl, 3.6L, Sidi, V6, Alum)?
A:
The procedure is to install the front compartment sight shield, raise the front edge of the cover, lower the front edge of the cover, slide the cover rearward, and align the cover over the oil fill tube. Press the cover down firmly on the ball stud at the right front corner, install the oil fill cap, and install the cross-car brace.
