Q: How to disassemble Drive Pinion?
A:
The procedure is to remove the pinion flange nut, remove the pinion flange from the shaft, place the pinion cage into a press, remove the pinion shaft and bearing from the cage using the J 45006 and a hydraulic press, remove the spacer from the pinion shaft, install the J 22912-B onto the pinion shaft, place the pinion shaft in a press to remove the bearing from the shaft, install the J 45006 and press the bearing from the pinion shaft, remove the pinion oil seal and the pinion bearing from the bearing cage.
