Q: How to remove the Camshaft Cover-Left Side (LP1, LY7)?
A:
The procedure is to remove the engine cover, remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold, disconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors, remove the wiring harness from the side of the camshaft cover by sliding the conduit down and outboard, remove the wiring conduit retainers from the camshaft cover by rotating the wiring harness conduit retainers counterclockwise, remove the wiring harness from the front of the camshaft cover, reposition and secure the wiring harnesses away from the camshaft cover, remove the ignition coils, remove the camshaft cover, remove and discard the camshaft cover seal and grommets.

It is not necessary to disconnect the engine front cover electrical connectors.

A:
The procedure is to install a NEW camshaft cover seal and NEW grommets, install the camshaft cover, install the ignition coils, install the wiring harness to the front of the camshaft cover, install the wiring harness conduit retainers to the wiring harness conduit, install the wiring harness to the side of the camshaft cover, connect the ignition coil electrical connectors, install the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold, install the engine cover.
