The procedure is to remove the applicable camshaft, remove the Rocker Arms, and clean and inspect the camshaft(s) and the rocker arm(s).
Q: How to remove Valve Lifter-Left Side?
A:
The procedure is to remove the applicable camshafts, remove the rocker arms, remove the lifters, and clean and inspect the camshafts, rocker arms, and lifters.
Q: How to remove the Camshaft Cover-Left Side (LP1, LY7)?
A:
The procedure is to remove the engine cover, remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold, disconnect the ignition coil electrical connectors, remove the wiring harness from the side of the camshaft cover by sliding the conduit down and outboard, remove the wiring conduit retainers from the camshaft cover by rotating the wiring harness conduit retainers counterclockwise, remove the wiring harness from the front of the camshaft cover, reposition and secure the wiring harnesses away from the camshaft cover, remove the ignition coils, remove the camshaft cover, remove and discard the camshaft cover seal and grommets.
