You should install the drain plug and washer to the Differential, remove the fill plug and washer from the differential, fill the differential with fluid, and check the fluid level to ensure it is even with the bottom of the fill plug hole to no lower than 6 mm (0.25 in) below the opening, and install the fill plug and washer to the differential.
Q: How to install the Differential Carrier Cover and Seal-Left Side?
A:
You should install a new O-ring seal to the Differential Cover, the differential cover to the differential, the dowel pin and the differential cover retaining bolts, the axle seal into the differential cover using J 46405, the LH muffler assembly, the LH wheel drive shaft and the LH rear tire and wheel assembly.
