You should remove both trim plugs from the fastener sockets of the floor-mounted door release, the pushpin from the front seat riser cover, which is nearest to the floor-mounted door release, both fasteners from the door release, the door sill trim, the B-Pillar interior trim. the mastic cover from the door latch access hole in the body, the fasteners from the B-Pillar mounted door latch, and the latch from the body access hole. Remove the latch cover fasteners from the rear of the latch, the latch cover, and the cable end by rotating the cable a quarter turn to disengage from the latch actuating lever.
