2008 Cadillac XLR Window Regulator

You should remove the door trim panel, the large water deflector for inside access to the rear of the door, the small mastic seals near the top of the door for access to the upper regulator mounting fasteners, the small plug on the bottom of the door for access to the lower regulator mounting fastener, the radio speaker fasteners, the electrical connector lock, the radio speaker from the door, the door window. Remove the nuts from the regulator lower channel studs, the nuts from the regulator motor studs, and the nuts from the upper regulator channel studs.

You should install the nuts to the motor studs, the window, the small mastic seals in the window clamp sight access holes, the uppermost screws mounting the speaker assembly to the door, the remaining screws to the water deflector, the door trim panel, and the access plug into the bottom of the door.
