Q: How to adjust the range selector lever cable?
A:
The proper way is to disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the trim panel from the floor console, place the shift control lever in the park (P) position, loosen the control cable adjusting nut, move the park/neutral position (PNP) switch lever counterclockwise until stopping the lever, pull the shift control cable until it is tight and tighten the control cable adjusting nut, install the floor console trim panel, and then connect the negative battery cable.
