Q: How to remove the power steering pump?
A:
The proper way is to remove the air cleaner housing by removing the housing bolts and loosening the clamp, remove the pump drive belt from the pulley by moving the auto-tensioner, drain the power steering fluid by disconnecting the pressure and supply lines from the pump, and then remove the pump assembly by removing the steering pump retaining nuts.
