Q: How to remove the terminals from the connector?
A:
The proper way is to locate the connector position assurance (CPA) on the top of the wire dress cover, slide the lever lock forward while pressing down on the lever lock release tab, disconnect the connector from the component, release the rear lower half of the wire dress cover, release the tabs that are holding the wire dress cover to the connector body, remove the nose piece by inserting a small flat-blade tool into the slots on both ends of the connector body, and then gently pull the wire out of the back of the connector.

Q: How to disassemble the wheel hub, bearing, knuckle, and seal?
A:
The proper way is to remove the wheel hub, bearing, knuckle, and brake shield as an assembly, remove the brake shield, remove the special tools from the knuckle, remove the wheel bearing from the knuckle, and then remove the special tools from the knuckle.

Q: How to remove the JST connectors?
A:
The proper way is to remove the connector from the component, locate the two indents of the terminal position assurance (TPA) located on the bottom of the connector body, raise the TPA on both sides of the connector, release the terminals by inserting the tool into the left side of the terminal release cavity as shown in the graphic, and then pull the wire out of the back of the connector.
