First, lift and support the vehicle, install the AIR pump nuts, the AIR pump wiring harness electrical connector clip, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector, and install the engine shield. Position the AIR pump inlet and outlet hoses.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the Secondary Air Injection Pump?
A:
Disconnect the secondary air injection pump inlet and outlet hose quick connect fitting. Remove the engine shield, disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector, squeeze the AIR pump wiring harness electrical connector clip together and push up to separate the clip/connector from the bracket. Open the AIR pump wiring harness clip and remove the harness. Remove the AIR pump nuts, lower the vehicle, reposition the AIR pump inlet and outlet hoses, and remove the AIR pump.
