Q: What is the installation procedure for the Exhaust Manifold?
A:
Place a NEW exhaust manifold gasket onto the cylinder head. Position the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head. Apply thread lock GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the exhaust manifold bolt threads. Install the exhaust manifold bolts.

A:
Remove the exhaust seal. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Remove the exhaust manifold bolts. Remove the exhaust manifold and the gasket from the engine. Discard the gasket.
