Place a NEW AIR check valve gasket between the engine and the valve, position the AIR check valve to the engine, install the AIR check valve studs, connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector and the AIR pump outlet hose quick-connect fitting to the AIR check valve, install the air cleaner outlet duct, close the hood.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the Secondary Air Injection Check Valve?
A:
Open the hood, remove the air cleaner outlet duct, and disconnect the secondary air injection pump outlet hose quick connect fitting and the engine wiring harness electrical connector. Remove the AIR check valve studs, the AIR check valve, and the gasket. Discard the gasket.
