Q: What is the adjustment procedure for the range selector lever cable?
A:
The procedure is to shift the transmission into neutral, raise and suitably support the vehicle, carefully pry to release the transmission shift control cable adjustment lock, check to be sure that the transmission floor shift control is in the neutral detent position, check to be sure that the transmission is in the neutral detent position, press to secure the transmission shift control cable adjustment lock and then lower the vehicle.
