You can remove the weatherstrip, remove the weatherstrip retainer, remove the blowout clip and then clean the mounting surfaces.

Q: How to install the weatherstrip side retainer?
A:
You can peel the protective cover from the foam tape on the back of the retainer, place the clip to the back of the retainer, install the windshield weatherstrip side retainer, install the screws mounting the windshield weatherstrip side retainer and then apply sealant and install the weatherstrip.

Q: How to remove the door weatherstrip?
A:
You can remove the push-pin retainers from the ends of the weatherstrip, pull the weatherstrip from the full length of the door and then remove any weatherstrip retainers that remain in the door. The new weatherstrip comes with retainers.

Q: How to install the door weatherstrip?
A:
You can press the retainers firmly into the holes in the door and then insert and press the push-pin retainers through the weatherstrip molded ends into the door.
