A:
The procedure is to install the new boot clamp onto the rack and pinion boot, the boot onto the inner tie rod assembly, the boot onto the gear assembly, the boot clamp on the boot, the tie rod end clamp on the boot using pliers, the jam nut to the inner tie rod assembly and the outer tie rod.

A:
The procedure is to remove the outer tie rod, remove the nut from the inner tie rod assembly, remove the tie rod clamp, remove the boot clamp, discard the boot clamp and then remove the rack and pinion boot.
