2008 Chevrolet Impala Control Arm Bushing

The removal procedure is to raise and support the vehicle, remove the left and right side stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts, remove the left and right side stabilizer shaft insulator brackets, then remove the left and right side stabilizer shaft insulators from the stabilizer shaft.

You will need to ensure the lower insulator is seated into the frame. The lower insulator should not be loose. The spacer and the corresponding upper insulator are pressed into the lower insulator thus squeezing the frame. The bolt is then inserted through the mount, capturing the lower retainer. The body mount components prevent contact with the frame to the body.
