Q: What's the removal procedure for the park brake cable equalizer?
A:
The removal procedure is to raise and support the vehicle, disconnect the left rear park brake cable and adjustment stud assembly from the equalizer assembly by removing the equalizer nut from the adjustment stud, disconnect the front park brake cable from the right rear cable at the connector clip, then remove the equalizer assembly.

Q: How to remove the front wheel stud?
A:
You will need to raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel and the brake rotor, then use the J 35917 to press the wheel stud from the bearing/hub.

Q: What should be noticed if you are replacing the wheel(s), the wheel stud(s), the wheel nut(s), or the wheel bolt(s)?
A:
You will need to install only new GM original equipment parts. Installation of used parts or non-GM original equipment parts may cause the wheel to loosen, loss of tire air pressure, poor vehicle handling, and loss of vehicle control resulting in personal injury.

The installation procedure is to install the equalizer assembly, connect the front brake cable to the right rear cable, connect the left rear brake cable and adjustment stud assembly to the equalizer assembly, then adjust the Park Brake System and lower the vehicle.
