Q: What's the removal procedure for the engine coolant thermostat housing?
A:
The removal procedure is to drain the cooling system, remove the air cleaner outlet duct, reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the thermostat housing, remove the radiator outlet hose from the thermostat housing, remove the thermostat housing bolt/stud and the thermostat housing and gasket and clean the gasket surfaces.

The recommended torque is 10 N.m (89 lb in).

You will need to drain the cooling system, loosen the Water Pump pulley bolts, remove the drive belt, remove the water pump pulley bolts and pulley, remove the water pump bolts and the water pump and gasket, then clean the water pump mating surfaces.
Q: What's the recommended torque for the weatherstrip retainer screws?
A:
The recommended torque is 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Q: What should be done before removing the thermal bypass hose from the crossover pipe?
A:
You will need to reposition the thermal bypass hose clamp at the crossover pipe.
