You will need to disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the air cleaner housing, and position the engine control module out of the way.
Q: What's the removal procedure for the automatic transmission fluid filter and seal?
A:
The removal procedure is to remove the oil pan and the gasket, remove the filter, remove the lip ring seal pressed into the case only if replacement is necessary, inspect the oil pan and the filter for metal particles, clutch facing material, rubber particles, and engine coolant, determine the source of the contamination if foreign material is evident, correct the source of the contamination.
