A:
You should raise and support the vehicle, hold the pedal in the FULL upward position, pull rearward on the front park brake cable until the pedal drum reaches its full reset position, insert a thin tool on an upward angle through the hole in the front of the pedal assembly, past the retracted pedal drum, and into the hole in the back of the pedal assembly, slowly release the cable and remove the component that requires service.

Q: What's the procedure for the Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Enabling?
A:
You should hold the park brake pedal in the FULL upward position, pull rearward on the front park brake cable until the tension is released from the tool installed in the pedal assembly, remove the tool, and slowly release the park brake cable until it returns to its original position, release the park brake pedal, lower the vehicle, apply and release the park brake pedal 3 times.

Q: How do you remove the Parking Brake Rear Cable?
A:
You can ensure the parking brake is released, disable the park brake cable, and automatic adjuster, disconnect the left rear park brake cable, remove the park brake cable, remove the nut and bolt, release the park brake cable, remove the park brake cable from the actuator lever, remove the park brake cable from the backing plate by depressing the locking tabs and remove the park brake cable.
