Q: How do you replace the Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence System?
A:
You can disable the SIR, remove the front seat, use a flat-bladed tool, push the retainer clip downward, pull outward to release the knob, disengage the j-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame, remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly, lay the seat on its side, unhook connector from the retainer on the seat frame, disconnect and remove the sensor and re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence.
Q: What is the tip when you replace the Rear Seat Cushion Heater?
A:
The tips are that you should disconnect the seat cushion cover j-channel from the seat cushion frame, disconnect the electrical connector and pull the seat cushion cover away from the seat cushion pad to disengage the retaining channel.
