Product Specifications- Notes: If after replacement of steering unit there are still issues w/the Pwr assist, inspect condition of the PS pump. This pump has two Int valves that, if too much debris is in the system, can score the Int finish of the housing itself-the material in the housing is softer that the material used in the valves. If the valves damage the housing the pump will leak & restrict assist to the steering unit.
