A:
Disable the SIR system and remove the steering column trim covers. After removing the covers, remove the locking cylinder by pushing on the retaining pin so that the cylinder is released.

Inspect all of the vacuum hoses for correct routing, pinches, cuts, or disconnects. Inspect any hoses that are difficult to see.
