You can raise the vehicle, clean any dirt from around the Differential fill plug, remove the fill plug, check the differential fluid level, add the proper fluid, install the differential fill plug, remove the support and lower the vehicle.

You should replace the Driveshaft completely.

The procedure is to remove the wheel drive shaft from the vehicle, position the wheel drive shaft bar in a soft jawed vise and clamp securely, remove the boot retaining clamp from the boot for the tripot housing, remove the boot clamp from the boot for the wheel drive shaft, remove the tripod housing from the wheel drive shaft, remove the retaining clip and the tripot spider from the wheel drive shaft, remove the boot from the wheel drive shaft and inspect the wheel drive shaft inner joint for damage and excessive wear.
