2009 Cadillac SRX Fuel Injector

You can install new fuel injector seals, install the fuel injector, install the fuel injector retainer clip, install the fuel injector electrical connector, engage the fuel injector electrical connector lock, install the fuel rail with the fuel injectors, install the fuel rail bolts, connect the fuel feed pipe to the fuel rail, install the fuel pipe retaining clip and install the upper intake manifold.

You can position the engine cover/sight shield over the intake manifold, press the engine cover/sight shield down firmly and install the cross-car brace.

The procedure is to remove the cross-car brace, disengage the cover/shield from the ball studs and remove the engine cover/sight shield.

You can relieve the fuel system pressure, remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold, remove the fuel pipe retaining clip, disconnect the fuel feed pipe, remove debris from the area where the fuel injectors enter the intake manifold, remove the fuel rail bolts, remove the fuel rail with the fuel injectors, disengage the fuel injector electrical connector lock, disconnect the fuel injector electrical connector, remove the fuel injector retainer clip, remove the fuel injector and remove and discard the fuel injector seals.
