The procedure is to disable the SIR system, remove the turn signal cancel cam and upper bearing, remove the theft deterrent control module, remove the ignition lock cylinder, remove the ignition switch assembly, remove 3 pan head tapping screws and remove the ignition lock cylinder case.

A:
The procedure is to turn the ignition OFF, remove the engine cover, remove and reposition the intake manifold, remove the Ignition Coil electrical connector(s), remove the ignition coil bolt(s), and remove the ignition coil(s).
Q: What is the removal procedure for the bank 2 knock sensor?
A:
The procedure is to turn the ignition off, raise the vehicle, remove the wiring harness heat shield, remove the Knock Sensor (KS) electrical connector, remove the KS bolt and remove the KS.
Q: How do you replace the engine control module?
A:
You can turn the ignition off, retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil and automatic transmission fluid life, measure the main relay circuit voltage at the ECM/TCM/IGN fuse, measure the main relay circuit voltage at the TCM/BATT fuse, disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the TCM/BATT fuse and the ECM/TCM/IGN fuse, unlock and disconnect the front engine wiring harness electrical connector, unlock and disconnect the rear engine wiring harness electrical connector, release the locking tabs and remove the ECM.
