2009 Cadillac XLR Exhaust Manifold

First, apply a 5 mm wide band thread lock to the threads of the exhaust manifold bolt and studs. Place the exhaust manifold and a new gasket into place. Next, install the exhaust manifold bolts/nuts and tighten them to 25 Nm. Install the exhaust manifold catalytic converter hanger bolt to the bell housing and tighten it to 50 Nm. Next, install the left exhaust manifold heat shield/bolts and tighten them to 10 Nm. Next, install the oxygen sensors and tighten them to 42 Nm and install the CPA locks. Finally, install the powertrain.
