First, install the battery tray to the vehicle, install the 3 nuts securing the battery tray to the battery tray bracket and tighten the nuts to 20 Nm. Next, install the battery tray front support, and the battery tray front support bolts and tighten the bolts to 20 Nm. Finally, install the battery.

Q: What is the starter installation procedure?
A:
First, install the Starter heat shield, snap the transmission cover onto the starter and install the starter through the wheel well opening. Next install the started solenoid cable to the starter, install the starter solenoid cable nut and tighten the nut to 9 Nm. Place the starter solenoid cable clip into the frame, install the starter solenoid cable clip bolt and tighten the clip bolt to 10 Nm. Install the engine wiring harness lead terminal to the starter, install the engine wiring harness lead nut and tighten to 3.4 Nm. After that install the starter bolts and tighten the bolts to 50 Nm.
Q: What is the battery positive cable installation procedure?
A:
Install the positive battery cable to the vehicle and the positive battery cable terminal to the mega fuse stud. Next, install the positive battery cable clips to the studs on the plenum front panel and install the generator battery jumper cable terminal to the mega fuse stud. After that install the generator battery jumper cable to the mega fuse nut and tighten the nuts to 9 Nm. Install the mega fuse cover, install the positive battery cable connector to the UBEC and install the underhood junction block cover.
