Q: What is the rear object sensor housing replacement procedure?
A:
First, remove the rear fascia and disconnect the sensor harness. Remove the sensor from the sensor housing and sand/grind sonic weld plastic residue from the fascia. Next, apply structural adhesive epoxy, install the sensor housing to the fascia and allow the adhesive to cure. Finally install the sensor to the sensor housing, connect the electrical harness and install the rear fascia.
