Q: What is the valve rocker arm cover removal procedure?
A:
First, remove the intake manifold cover, and the connector position assurance retainer, and disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the ignition coil wire harness. Next, remove the engine harness clip from the ignition coil bracket stud and reposition the engine harness. After that remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coils, remove the ignition coil bracket studs, and the ignition coil. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation hose and the valve rocker arm cover. Finally, remove the old gasket.

Q: What is the valve rocker arm cover installation procedure?
A:
Insert the new oil fill tube into the rocker arm cover and install the oil fill cap into the tube. Next, install a new rocker cover gasket into the valve rocker arm cover lip, install the valve rocker arm cover and tighten the rocker arm cover bolts to 12 Nm. After that, install the PCV tube to the valve rocker cover, install the ignition coil bracket studs and tighten the studs to 12 Nm. Install the spark plug wires to the ignition coils, install the heater hose bracket/nut and tighten the nut to 9 Nm. Next, install the surge tanks outlet hose to the heater hose bracket, the generator battery cable clips to the ignition coil bracket stud, and install the engine wiring harness clip to the ignition coil bracket stud. Finally, install the CPA retainer and the intake manifold cover.
