First install the Axle Bearing, the axle shaft seal, and the axle shaft. Install the tire/wheel assembly and fill the rear axle with lubricant.

First, assemble one bearing cup part way into 1 side of the yoke. Next, assemble the cross into the yoke so that the trunnion seats freely into the bearing cup. Install the opposite bearing cup partway into the yoke ear.

First, install a new small retaining clamp onto the neck seal, and slide a small retaining clamp and seal to their proper position on the driveshaft bar. Install the small retaining ring using J 8059 into the groove of the driveshaft bar. Next, install the seal onto the D/O joint housing.
