A:
Install suitable fittings to the master cylinder ports and install transparent hoses to the fittings. Next, fill the master cylinder reservoir to at least halfway with GM-approved brake fluid. Make sure the ends of the transparent hoses running into the master cylinder reservoir are fully submerged and install the master cylinder reservoir cap/diaphragm.

Lubricate the master cylinder reservoir seals with brake fluid, and install the master cylinder reservoir seals and the master cylinder reservoir to the master cylinder. Next, connect the brake fluid level indicator switch electrical connector and fill the master cylinder reservoir.

Q: What is the master cylinder installation procedure?
A:
First, bench bleed the master cylinder, and install the master cylinder and the O-ring seal to the power vacuum brake booster. Next, install the master cylinder nuts and tighten them to 30 Nm. Connect the master cylinder primary/secondary brake pipe fitting and tighten to 17 Nm.
