Remove the inner seal and use a hand grinder to cut through the large retaining clamp located at the C/V joint. Next, discard the large/small retaining clamp, remove the outer seal from the C/V joint and clean the old grease out of the C/V joint.

Install the new small retaining clamp onto the neck of the seal, and slide the small retaining clamp and seal to their proper position on the driveshaft bar. Next, tighten the small retaining clamp to 136 Nm, install the retaining ring place the new large retaining clamp on the seal. After that, install the seal onto the D/O joint housing and secure the new large retaining clamp.
