First, position the boot on the wheel drive shaft and install the tripod assembly to the wheel drive shaft. Next, install the retaining ring in the wheel drive shaft and install the tripod housing on the wheel drive shaft. Install the boot clamp on the boot for the tripod housing and the wheel drive. Finally, install the wheel drive shaft from the vehicle.
