Transfer the pre-scrubbed alignment marks on the new part and install the intermediate Steering Shaft assembly from inside the vehicle. Next, align and connect the intermediate steering shaft to the steering gear. After that install a new lower intermediate shaft pinch bolt and tighten it to 34 Nm.
Q: What is the steering angle sensor centering service procedure?
A:
First set the transmission in the park position and install the scan tool to the data link connector. Next, turn the ignition switch on and follow the scan tool directions to complete the automated centering procedure.
