2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD A/C System Seal Kit

The procedure is to disassemble the A/C refrigerant components, remove the O-ring seal, inspect the O-ring seal for signs of damage, inspect the A/C refrigerant components for damage or burrs, cap or tape the A/C refrigerant components and discard the O-ring seal.

You can inspect the new seal washer for any signs of cracks, cuts or damage, remove the cap or tape from the A/C refrigerant components, clean the sealing surfaces of the A/C refrigerant components, install the new seal washer onto the A/C refrigerant component and assemble the remaining A/C refrigerant components.

You can inspect the new O-ring seal for damage, remove the cap or tape from the A/C refrigerant components, clean the sealing surfaces of the A/C refrigerant components, coat the new O-ring seal with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil, slide the new O-ring seal onto the A/C refrigerant component, fully seat the O-ring seal and assemble the A/C components.

The procedure is to remove the seal washer from the A/C refrigerant component, inspect the seal washer for signs of damage, inspect the A/C refrigerant components for damage and discard the sealing washer.
