Q: How do you install the Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve?
A:
You can position and install the EVAP canister vent solenoid, slide the EVAP canister vent solenoid towards the driver side of the vehicle, connect the EVAP vent solenoid pipe quick connect fitting, install the EVAP vent solenoid pipe clip, connect the chassis wiring harness electrical connector, install EVAP canister vent solenoid clip, install the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe to the clip on the chassis EVAP line, install the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipe to the clips on the brake pipes and lower the vehicle.

Q: How do you install the Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve (Front of Tank)?
A:
You can use a hose clamp at the end of the vent hose, secure the vent hose with a tie strap to the vent hose tee connector, secure the heater hose along the frame with tie straps, position and install the evaporative canister vent solenoid and secure both ends with hose clamps.

Q: How do you replace the Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve (Front of Tank)?
A:
You can lift and support the vehicle, cut the canister vent solenoid hose approximately 76 mm (3 in) from the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid, pull back on the retaining tab, release the vent solenoid valve, disconnect the vent solenoid hose, remove the vent solenoid hose and replace the vent hose with bulk 5/8 in heater hose.

Q: How do you replace the Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve?
A:
You can raise the vehicle, remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid clip, remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid pipes from the clip on the chassis EVAP line and the clips on the brake pipes, disconnect the chassis wiring harness electrical connector, disconnect the EVAP vent solenoid pipe quick connect fitting, remove the EVAP vent solenoid pipe clip, insert a small flat bladed tool between the EVAP canister vent solenoid and the fuel tank bracket, slide the EVAP canister vent solenoid off the bracket towards the passenger side of the vehicle and remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid.

A:
You can lift and support the vehicle, cut the canister vent solenoid hose approximately 76 mm (3 in) from the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid, disconnect the vent solenoid hose retainers, remove the vent solenoid hose and filter and replace the vent hose with bulk 5/8 in heater hose.
