02/11/2022Q: What procedure should you perform if the secondary latch is engaged and the cable end is not visible?
A:
You should raise and support the vehicle, place a transmission jack or equivalent under the spare tire, position the center of the transmission jack under the secondary latch release button at the center of the spare tire, raise the jack, lower the tire and remove the tire from the jack.
