Q: How do you install the Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod (Hydraulic Power Steering)?
A:
You can apply LOCTITE(R) 262 or equivalent to the steering gear inner tie rod threads, attach the steering linkage inner tie rod onto the steering gear rack, place a pipe wrench on the steering gear rack next to the steering linkage inner tie rod housing, tighten the steering linkage inner tie rod housing and install the steering gear boot.

Q: How do you install the Steering Linkage Inner Tie Rod?
A:
You can remove all traces of oil, grease, or other contaminants, clean the threads of the steering linkage inner tie rod, and apply red LOCTITE(TM) thread locker, GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the threads of the steering linkage inner tie rod, install the steering linkage inner tie rod, install the steering linkage outer tie rod, install the engine shield and adjust the front toe.
