A:
You can remove the intake manifold, disconnect the engine harness electrical connector, remove the valve lifter oil manifold bolts and the valve lifter oil manifold, identify the 8 gasket retaining strap locations, cut the 8 retaining straps, and remove the outer gasket.

02/11/2022Q: How do you install the Valve Lifter Oil Filter?
A:
You can install a new valve lifter oil filter O-ring seal, install the new valve lifter oil filter, apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the threads of the oil pressure sensor, install the oil pressure sensor washer and sensor, connect the engine harness electrical connector and install the intake manifold.
