Q: How to service the Inflatable Restraint Roof Rail Module bolts?
A:
You should remove the current M-6 bolts, retain the module out of the way, remove the roof rail assist handle bracket, drill out the slot at the location on the roof rail assist handle bracket at the stripped weld-nut location, reinstall the roof rail assist handle bracket, remove the M-6 bolt and plastic prefixation bracket from the module assembly, hand start the replacement M-7 bolt, hand start any other bolts that were removed and then tighten the bolts to original specification.
