Q: How to refinish the Brake Drum?
A:
You should not refinish brake drums, inspect each of the brake drums and determine if the brake drums can be refinished and remain within the maximum allowable diameter after refinishing specification, proceed with the rotor refinishing procedure, mount the brake drum to the brake lathe, slowly bring in the cutting tool, observe the witness mark on the brake drum, re-mount the brake drum to the lathe, refinish the brake drum and then remove the brake drum from the brake lathe.
