2009 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Differential Bearing

You should remove the right side seal and/or bearing, the inner axle shaft seal and/or the inner axle shaft bearing, the inner axle shaft, the inner axle shaft seal, the differential carrier assembly, the inner axle shaft, and the inner axle shaft seal and/or the inner axle shaft bearing.

You should install the inner axle bearing and the inner axle seal, install the inner axle shaft housing into a vise, push on the inner end of the inner axle shaft and move the shaft outboard as far as it will go, install the J 34673 and the J 34672 onto the inner shaft housing as shown, measure the distance from the edge of the inner axle shaft to the surface of the J 34673, measure the distance from the machined surface of the differential carrier housing and then measure the thickness of the J 34673.

You should install the right side bearing with the square shoulder, the new axle shaft seal, the inner axle shaft into the inner axle shaft housing, the inner axle shaft and clutch fork assembly components, the inner axle shaft and housing assembly, the left side bearing with the square shoulder in, the new axle shaft sea, the inner axle shaft, and the front differential carrier assembly.
