You should remove the upper intake manifold sight shield, remove the engine ground strap nut at the front plenum panel, remove the ground strap terminal from the stud, remove the engine ground strap bolt from the rear of the left cylinder head and remove the ground strap from the vehicle.

Q: How do I install the Engine Ground Strap?
A:
You should install the ground strap to the vehicle, install the ground strap terminal to the stud, install the engine ground strap nut at the front plenum panel, position the ground strap to the rear of the left cylinder head, install the engine ground strap bolt to the rear of the left cylinder head and install the upper intake manifold sight shield.
