Q: What should be noticed when replacing Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose/Pipe (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines)?
A:
If equipped without a regular production option (RPO) C36 auxiliary heater, you should remove the surge tank/heater outlet hose from the mounting clip. If equipped with RPO C36 auxiliary heater, you should remove the surge tank/heater outlet hose from the mounting clip. If equipped without RPO C36 auxiliary heater, you should firmly grasp the outlet hose and pull the outlet hose to disengage the hose from the heater and blower module.

Q: How do I install the Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe (Non-HP2)?
A:
You should install the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank, position the surge tank inlet hose clamp to the surge tank, install the surge tank inlet hose to the radiator, position the surge tank inlet hose clamp to the radiator and fill the cooling system.
