When removing protective liners from the adhesive tape, you should be careful not to touch the tape with your hands and do not allow the tape to come in contact with dirt or any foreign matter prior to adhesion, use a J 25070 or equivalent to remove the bodyside lower front molding, clean all adhesive from the bodyside lower front molding using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean water, wipe the surface dry with a clean lint-free towel prior to installing new side bodyside lower front molding, close the door before installing the new bodyside lower front molding, align the molding the door bodyside bracket, secure the two clips on the backside of the molding to the bracket, rotate the molding forward and snap-fit the molding to the bracket and peel adhesive tape protective liner from molding and secure the bodyside lower front molding to the door.

The paint protection film and vehicle surface temperature should be 13-32°C (55-90°F) for best results. Automatic car washes should be avoided for at least 24 hours after the paint protection film application. You should wipe the vehicle surface with isopropyl alcohol or flash naptha at the application area, dry the surface with a clean lint-free cloth, and create a mixture of 25 percent isopropyl alcohol and 75 percent water and two drops of baby shampoo per 16 oz of the fluid mixture, remove the backing liner from the protective film patch, spray the adhesive side of the protective patch, the mounting location along with your hands, position the paint protective film patch to the desired location on the vehicle, spray the surface of the film with the alcohol, water, and soap solution, start at the center of the protective patch, remove the air and solution from under the protective patch, release any air bubbles with a pin and dry the surface with a clean, lint-free cotton cloth.
