Q: What should be cautioned about Fuel Injector Cleaning?
A:
Under NO circumstances should the GM Upper Engine and Fuel Injector Cleaner be added to the vehicle fuel tank, as it may damage the fuel pump and other system components. You can not exceed the recommended cleaning solution concentration. Higher concentrations may damage fuel system components. Testing has demonstrated that exceeding the recommended cleaning solution concentration does not improve the effectiveness of this procedure.
